Cambridge Music Festival

Cambridge Music Festival faced a formidable challenge: how do you stand out in a city that’s already awash with live music? We worked with the festival as they developed from a traditional 2 week format to a seasonal event, and introduced a diverse new programme ranging from early and classical to contemporary and world music.

Artium is now the retained agency for Cambridge Music Festival. Each season we galvanise media outlets for heavyweight features about the festival’s activities, from traditional concerts to multimedia light shows.

Our latest season together has seen the festival sell out, with impactful media appearances in 72% Tier One media. Highlights have included features on BBC Radio 3, BBC 6 Music, in The Times, The Telegraph, BBC Music Magazine, The Strad, Classical Music, The Cambridge Independent, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and Cambridge News.

Festival Director Justin Lee said: "Artium has been fantastic for Cambridge Music Festival: Working with Damaris is always a pleasure: she is focussed and effective in her work; patient, straightforward and easy to deal with; and, unlike some PR companies, she gets excellent coverage both locally and nationally."
